Diane Faye DeClerq died Nov. 10, 2011.

Diane was born on March 24, 1947, in Moline Public Hospital. She attended Moline High School, where she graduated in the class of 1965. She was known by her family and friends to be an excellent pianist. After school she worked at the Rock Island Arsenal for a number of years until she moved to Springfield, Ill., where she lived out her remaining years.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Wilma Francis; and her brother, David Francis Sr.

Diane leaves behind her sister-in-law, Christina Francis; and two nephews, David Francis Jr. and Matthew Francis.

Other surviving family members and friends are welcome to attend a memorial service for Diane at Riverside Cemetery, Moline, on Friday, June 14, at 11 a.m.
