Gary and I were on the tennis team together; he was a heck of a player. I have run into Gary many times over the years; on the golf course and at Zimmermans. I believe the first time was when I stopped him for speeding. Of course I let him go. My thoughts to his family.

Gary and I met at John Deere.  We didn't spend that much time together but I remember he was a very nice person and easy to be friends with.  See you on the other side.

Wishing Gary's family my deepest condolences on your loss.  I didn't realize that he had joined the East End Club.  My father-in-law was the Bar manager there for 57 years.  And Gary's best friend, Russ Reese, is my former brother-in-law.  It is a very small world.  Gary will be greatly missed.

I did not socialize w/Gary in H.S. or after.  If I had any classes w/him I don’t remember; but, I do remember him from Maple Grove grade school.  Our 5 th. Grade class, under Mrs. Johnson, put on an epic play depicting a Mexican festival .  One scene demonstrated the art of  bartering.  A shopkeeper (myself) selling a fancy hat to a customer (Gary).  After a few rounds of haggling, Gary got his hat at a bargain price.  Why I distinctly remember that incident , I don’t know - but I do, maybe because he was a nice guy.
