Judy died on June 27, 2008 of lung and heart failure at the age of 61. She was born Jan. 21, 1947 in Moline. Survivors include husband Bill; sons, Larry Tate and Danny Welch; daughter Lana Johnson, her sons Brice and Morgan., and other family members. She knew no strangers, and all who she came into contact with knew how deeply she loved life.
