Cheryl Anders (Johnson)

Cheryl A. Johnson, 74, of Moline, passed away Tuesday, August 23, 2022, at UnityPoint Health Trinity Rock Island.

Graveside services were held at noon, Monday, August 29, 2022, at Riverside Cemetery, Moline. Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., Moline, assisted the family.

Cheryl was born on December 16, 1947, in Moline, the daughter of Calvin and Mary (Perkins) Anders. She was previously employed as the lead custodian at the Quad City International Airport for 37 years, retiring in 2012. She was a member of New Journey AME Church, Moline. Cheryl was an avid reader and enjoyed traveling.

Survivors her son, Timothy (Yaveta) Johnson, Rock Island, grandchildren, Devarius (Leanna) Johnson, Moline, Brandy Harris (Fred Byrd), Moline, Kanai Johnson (Michael Kelly) Davenport; great grandchildren, Quintin Johnson, Moline, Landon Kellenberger, Moline, Jaxson Stewart, Moline; brother, Curtis (Ruthie) Anders, Normal, IL.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Anita Johnson, son, James Anders, and grandson, Christopher Michael Johnson.
