Linda Nelson Green, 76, Moline, IL passed away on Monday, December 26, 2022 at Genesis Health Center in Silvis, IL. There will be a private interment at Bridger Cemetery. Memorials preferred to the Quad Cities Animal Welfare Center, Milan.

Linda was born on December 10, 1946 to Paul and Yvonne (Johnson) Nelson in Rock Island. She grew up in Moline and graduated from Moline High School.

In early years Linda worked at the Eagle Warehouse in Milan, IL. She later worked in food service for the Moline School District until retiring in June of 2012.

Linda made her home in Moline. She was an avid reader and dearly loved the many dogs she had during her lifetime. Linda was a chatty person and enjoyed her conversations with caregivers at the nursing home. She enjoyed her favorite TV shows such as The Masked Singer and The Incredible Dr. Pol. She loved watching the wildlife outside her window.

Linda is survived by her son, Douglas (Johnna) Green of Davenport; brothers, Jim (Elaine) Nelson of Moline; and Frank (Nancy) Nelson of Wilton; and two grandchildren, Kaitlyn and Brianna Green.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
