Sorry to hear of the passing of Dick Waters. We played many basketball and baseball games against one another during our middle school years. Dick was married to Cathy Combs (MHS class of 1966). RIP Dick and Cathy.

I'm so glad to learn Dick taught and coached Junior High Students--they need kind, understanding teachers with a good sense of humor. We know Dick was one of the best--with Cathy by his side.

So sorry to hear this. I have thought of and remembered Dick often. He was one of the good guys. Always thoughtful and a gentleman. Even at our early ages. RIP Dick. Thank you for your service in the U S  Army, and prayers go to all your family. ❤️

Steve and I are so sad to hear of Dicks passing.  We double dated with he and Cathy many times in high school and he was a groomsman in our wedding.  He had a life well lived.

Oh gosh. Dick Waters. At MHS, he was such a cool, hip, good looking dude that I'm sure I wasn't the only guy who envied him.I was so glad he made such a mark with his military service, teaching, coaching, and husband and father roles.May he rest in peace now.
