Vikki Carss Odell

Married in 1967 to Randy Prescott. I had two children. Worked at Heeren Company in Moline and worked there for thirteen years as an inside sales person and in outside sales. Heeren Co. was a distributor of hydraulic and pneumatic equipment. I was divorced in 1992 and moved to Boulder, Colorado. I Was employed by Fluid Power Tech in Denver as a Tech Support person. My Chidren moved to Colorado, which made me very happy. I was married to Bill Odell (MHS66) in 1995 and we then moved to Denver. In 2000 we retired and moved to a log home in south central Colorado, AKA: the wilderness. We have traveled to many wonderful places. New Zealand, Italy & Croatia, the Galapagos, Machu Picchu, and, rented a sail boat and sailed around the British Virgin Islands. You get the idea. We sold our house in SW Co. and moved to Westminster, Co. in 2012 where all our blended families live. We still travel but we also baby sit a lot. Ha ha.

This is a story that did not happen in school, but,we were all in school at the time. The usual suspects travel to the Pits. I loved that place. Clear cool turquoise water and very few people. We are swimming around when one of us finds a telephone pole. We pulled it in the water and it floats. We all got on the pole and patted around. One of us (not me) desided we should take off our swimming suit tops. So we would have no strap marks. Remember no one was there but us girls. So we paddled around. This pole was not not always cooperative. It was hard to get on and harder to stay on. Suzee made up a name for the barge. I don't remember it except for it was all B's and very long. We had one of those days you will never forget. Also you could ask Suzee, at the reunion what the name was, as I know she remembers.
