Dinah J. Marsh, 56, of Rock Island, died Wednesday, Jan. 21, 2004, at River Park Health Care Center, Rock Island.
Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at DeRoo Funeral Home, Moline. Visitation will be 4 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home. Entombment is in St. Mary's Mausoleum of the Resurrection, East Moline. Memorials may be made to A R C, the Association for Retarded Citizens of Rock Island County.
The former Dinah J. DeCoster was born May 8, 1947, in Moline, the daughter of Francis and Mystle R. Grier DeCoster. She married James Marsh in October of 1966 in Moline.
Mrs. Marsh retired as a file clerk from the Department of the Army, Rock Island Arsenal, in January of 2003.
Survivors include her daughters and son-in-law, Tori Marsh and Bryon Talbot, Longview, Wash., and Gina Marsh, Moline; sisters and brother-in-law, Joyce and Dan Stevenson, Bettendorf, Deloris Armstrong, East Moline; and brothers and sisters-in-law, Donald DeCoster, Swisher, Iowa, Merlyn and Mary Ann DeCoster, Erie, and Daniel and Sharon DeCoster, Columbus, Mont. She was preceded in death by her parents; a niece, Patty Overton; brother-in-law, Norman Armstrong; and sister-in-law, Ruth DeCoster.
