EAST MOLINE -- David A. Bergstrom, of 2824 8th St., died Monday, Feb. 14, 2000, at his home. Services will be 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Wheelan Funeral Home, Rock Island. Burial was in Moline Memorial Park. David had worked 16 years as an inventory specialist in the Tank Automotive Command at Rock Island Arsenal. He was born May 16, 1947, in Waterloo, Iowa, to Donald R. and Ruth (Chester) Bergstrom. He married Kathleen Kelly Geyer on Nov. 11, 1988, in Iowa City. Memorials may be made to Pathway Hospice, Rock Island. Survivors include his wife; a son and daughter-in-law, Gregory A. and Julie Geyer, Moline; a granddaughter, Erin Geyer, Moline; his mother and stepfather, Ruth Bergstrom-Brown and Gale Brown, Moline; a brother, Dennis L. Bergstrom, Tulsa, Okla.; and a nephew, Thad Bergstrom, Tulsa. He was preceded in death by his father, Donald.
