Gayle L. Bishop, 75, of Moline, Illinois, died Tuesday, November 7, 2023 at home.
Cremation will take place at Trimble Crematory, Moline, under the direction of Trimble Funeral Home. Private burial is in Moline Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to the Youth Service Bureau.
Gayle Louise Bishop was born December 19, 1947, in Jacksonville, Illinois, the daughter of Bernard E. and Vivian M. (Bauser) Bishop. She graduated from Moline High School.
Gayle was office manager for Valley Construction for many years. She was an avid reader and enjoyed music.
Gayle is survived by two siblings, Stan and Barbara Bishop of Oak Ridge, Tennessee, and Lynn and Joe Chlumsky of Cary, North Carolina; five nieces and nephews, Nathan (Deana) Bishop, Amanda (Chris) Brackins, Valerie (Marris) Johnson, Adam (Melissa) Bishop, and Christopher (Anna) Vallee; and special friends, Mr. and Mrs. Ernie Osborn. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Russell “Skip” Bishop.
