Elizabeth M. "Betsy" Kerns, 62, of Rockford, Ill., died Tuesday, Feb. 9, 2010, at Swedish American Hospital, Rockford, after an extended illness. Betsy graduated from Ripon College, and she received her law degree from Duquesne University. She was a law clerk for Judge Maurice B. Cohill Jr. of the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania. Betsy also practiced law in Pennsylvania.
Thank you for posting this information. Didn't she live in a house at the very top of a very long drive-way? I think of her every time I drive by that driveway. I'm not surprised at her success in life. I'm sure there are many who miss her dearly.
